Working Hunters

Judging to commence at completion of Saddle Horses

 

Working Hunters are required to demonstrate jumping ability and be of good strong conformation with good manners, sound paces and be a comfortable ride over long distances. They will be required to jump a minimum of two and a maximum of five hunter type fences. Jumping style and ability 40%, conformation 30%, paces and manners 30%.  Horses will be required to gallop within the confines and constraints of the venue involved.

 

Horse/Pony height certificates and performance cards must be carried. Failure to do so will result in elimination.

50 points for performance of team at walk, trot, canter and halt.

20 points for turnout of ponies and riders.

20 points for matching ponies.
